1. Financial Management:
§ Prepare and processall accounting transactions such as disbursement, cash receipts, journalentries and advances which are in accordance with organizational finance andaccounting policies and procedures
§ Ensure timelysubmission of monthly requests, reconciliations and financial statement reports
§ Maintain accurate bankrecords of cash withdrawals and deposits.
§ Ensure efficientpayments and disbursements according to approved policy and procedures
§ Provideadministrative, logistical, and procurement support to the team, includingpayment to events participants, transportation and accommodation arrangements,and ongoing operations
§ Follow up on issuesraised by the Finance and Grants Teams to ensure compliance and resolution
§ Other duties relatedto logistics and procurement, as assigned by the Program Director
2. Budget Management
§ Assist activitiesmanagers with compiling, managing, monitoring, and tracking budget (e.g.organizing invoices, checks, & other financials) and preparingfinancial/funding reports, when deemed necessary.
§ Work with the programteam to ensure budget compliance.
3. Administration and activity management
§ Ensure proper functionof logistical operations including travel & events organization
§ Ensure proper functionof archive and documentation system
§ Ensure maintenance ofup to date register of assets
§ Work with the programteam to forecast financial transaction needs and support in identification andrecruitment of vendors based on project rules and regulations.
§ Lead interactions withexternal vendors.
