Work on challenging assignments that include investigating, trouble-shooting, and solving a wide variety of architectural engineering issues for power plant, industrial, commercial and government building designs
Coordinate the architectural design with other disciplines, such as structural, HVAC, fire protection, electrical, and plumbing
Develop and interpret the design criteria and architectural design
Modify and adapt existing architectural design features to meet a variety of situations
Present architectural design recommendations and proposals to staff and clients
Assist in the preparation of 3D electronic design models and final construction documents for buildings and equipment enclosures
Conduct code analysis for architectural designs
Conduct analysis for energy code compliance associated with architectural designs
Review and coordinate vendor submittals for conformity with construction documents
Develop your career via peer-learning through sharing of knowledge by way of S&L’s system of processes and associated Communities of Practice
Meet the requirements of annual continuing education with health, safety, and welfare learning units consistent with most state license requirements (typically 12 learning units or more per year)
Provide guidance as a mentor in the development of less experienced architects and architectural designers
