Plans and designscurricula for educational programs; researches and defines educational goals,objectives, and methodologies to meet program goals.
2. Determines formats andapproaches to achieve program and budget objectives; defines needs of targetpopulations; researches trends at the national and state level, as appropriateto the position.
3. Coordinates activitiesof support staff, consultants, faculty, and/or volunteers engaged inimplementation and administration of program objectives.
4. Manages andfacilitates program activities, to include classes, trainings, conferences,seminars, and/or other special projects.
5. As appropriate to thenature and objectives of the individual role, provides student advisement andsupport services, coordinates curriculum, and serves as a student liaison andadvocate with faculty and staff.
6. Monitors andadministers program/project revenues and expenses; may develop or participatein the development of funding proposals for the program.
7. Writes, edits, andcoordinates development of course catalogs, promotional materials, educationalmaterials, training manuals, newsletters, and/or brochures, as appropriate tothe program.
8. Purchases equipmentand/or services, as necessary, and ensures the proper usage and maintenance ofmaterials and equipment relevant to unit activities.
9. Assists with grantand/or proposal writing as appropriate to the objectives and funding nature ofthe program; may participate in other fundraising activities.
10. Develops and maintainsrecords and databases on student and program actvities, materials, equipment,and supplies.
11. Coordinates studentregistration for special educational programs.
12. May lead or guide thework of lower graded staff and/or student employees.
13. Performs miscellaneousjob-related duties as assigned.
