Job Description

We are hiring GIS Specialist for one of our client company B2B Agri Tech based in Lahore.

Responsibilities :

- Perform remote sensing and GIS via app to analyze, monitor & manage crops, create reports & recommendations.

-Ensure the highest sustainable agriculture practices, Innovative farm management, data collection/analysis, plant health and safety, and creating detailed reporting for all field-related activities - Promote & deploy practices to enhance soil fertility including sampling using multiple depth as well as geo-referencing techniques. 

-Provide technical support to growers and agronomic training for field teams responsible for sales and    marketing.

- Assist with agronomic budgeting and cost monitoring.

- Interact with input partners, technical partners, imagery providers and laboratories.

 Requirements:

 -Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in RS & GIS, Agriculture Engineering, Plant Sciences, or  Horticulture Adequate knowledge and hands-on experience with modern remote sensing & GIS software like Erdas Imagine, QGIS, SNAP, ENVI, eCognotion, EOS etc. 

-Demonstrated experience in crop data collection, satellite based crop monitoring and crop yield forecasting models.

 -Master degree in Agriculture, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or in Remote Sensing & GIS.
